nDetail Job Description:

àWork with Talus SCM and Quality team for technical review of potential localization parts.

àParticipate in new supplier introduction and technical assessment (survey and audit) for potential suppliers

àDrive the improvement of commodity suppliers’ quality and manufacturing processes to meet Talus request

àAct as liaison / technical lead for cross functional projects to include Build Verify and Production Readiness Review

àAudit and document supply base performance on critical process of records and overall quality management systems

àContinuously work on supplier production process improvement and developing Best Known Methods (BKMs)

àReview supplier capability and capacity from technical point of view to secure Talus production continuity

àSupport SCM team technical activity and provide professional suggestions as a technical expert.

àDevelop and utilize knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes to recommend manufacturing process changes

 

nEducation:

àUniversity degree or above for Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering  (Other relevant technical degrees will be considered)

 

nSkill:

àSolid understanding of various problem solving methodologies to include 8-D/5 why

àAt least 8 years experience in the Semiconductor Equipment, Aerospace or contract manufacturing Industries

àFluent in both English and Chinese

àGood Excel and PowerPoint skills

àExperience of working with global suppliers

àGood communication and other interpersonal skills
