n Detail Job Description:
à Oversee and manage the general/cost accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
à Help with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
à Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
à Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
à Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
à Supervise and/or manage accounting functions
à Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
à Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
n Education:
à Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
n Skills:
à 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
à At least 2 years working experiences with big 4 CPA firms
à Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
à Excellent attention to details and accuracy in entering, compiling financial/accounting data
à Outstanding math and research skills
à Ability to maintain confidentiality
à Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability
à Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
à Proficiency in English
à Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
à Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
à Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with SAP or similar ERP software suite.
